Workshop Title: Intro to Islamic Ceramics: Make Your Own!
This workshop is for adults who have an interest in exploring the motifs, history, and forms of Islamic ceramics. You will first be presented with a brief history of Islamic ceramics. Thereafter, you will explore the world of ceramic design, create your own motif, transfer it to the plate, and paint it with ‘traditional’ colors. No previous experience required.

About the Instructor: R. Hussain is an art historian and curator currently residing in the SF Bay Area. Her research interests include the influence of Eastern cultures on the Italian Baroque. She has written and lectured extensively.
