We have considered performing in other nearby venues but finally decided against it, simply because we will lose the full experience: the garden ambiance, the Sajj bread, the beautiful Sunjams stage, listening to Sayyid Darwish’s songs surrounded by Mediterranean fruit trees under the California Sun (shams is-shammouseh).
