We are sad to announce that the highly anticipated Aswat Sayyid Darwish concert at Sunjams Stage, planned for Saturday October 15th, has been postponed till April 2017 due to unforeseen rainy and windy weather.
We have considered performing in other nearby venues but finally decided against it, simply because we will lose the full experience: the garden ambiance, the Sajj bread, the beautiful Sunjams stage, listening to Sayyid Darwish’s songs surrounded by Mediterranean fruit trees under the California Sun (shams is-shammouseh). Sayyid Darwish himself would have preferred to have it all, so we will all have to wait.
