The concert will feature classical and folk music from Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.

Guest performers will include(1) vocalist Abboud Bashir from Aleppo, Syria who specializes in the ancient tradition of Arab Spain. Mr Bashir is a master of reciting Mawwal, a form of vocal improvisation requiring a deep and great knowledge of Maqamat (music modes and scales). He sings Adwar. Egyptian genre using colloquial poems, ending his Wasla medley with traditional folk songs called Taqtuqa (2) Vocalist and Master Egyptian percussionist Gamal Gomaa.
